Sisters

These are my two girls. 10 years apart. I often times observe them and marvel at the uniqueness of their relationship. The give and take of it. Are they similiar in nature or are they totally different? Will they appreciate one another as they grow up? Will they learn from one another? Will Sadie keep Emily younger in spirit? Will having Emily as a big sister turn Sadie into a teenager at 5? Who will they be in 10 years? In 20? Will they be close friends or will they be strangers to each other? As a mother, I have no choice but to be with the unknown.

Hi Anne,
I like the idea of a swimming pool. Altho my boys are only 3 yrs. and 2 mo.s already they are "kicking off" in different ways. It's hard to remember that for all your best intentions, you are dealing with another human being who may not be interested in what you have planned. Sigh.

Good luck with the training and the studios. I'm interested to hear more about those challenges.

Hi Anne~
I need to get into the studio on a regular basis. I am reading your blog for the 1st time in a long time. My sister and I are 10 years apart and now at 34 and 44 she is my best friend. It wasn't always this way but in my adult years I thank God every day for her. Take care and try not to worry about what the future holds :) ~Sue Skoog
